Klinikk Le Van is a rather popular acupuncturist center in Drammen.
As a company focusing on
alternative healthcare, Klinikk Le Van
has the unique responsibility to convey
certain standards of Cleanliness,
Professionalism, a long standing
education in alternative healing,
acupuncture and Spirituality. While this
is true of all alternative health
establishments, those characteristics
are not consistently represented in
their marketing. Certain themes in
advertisement and graphics in
Alternative health tend to adhere to
certain tropes. Common themes are
the use of the colour Green, plants,
Asian symbology and the discussion on
whether needle imagery should be
avoided in the logo.
It is a matter of contention in
Acupuncture whether to include a
needle in the marketing, on one end
it is an honest representation of the
service, or the other hand many people
will instinctually be triggered by
negative conotations and fear of pain.
The Client is aware of these themes and
their affect and is not averse to
using them so long as they are used
Tinh Le Van is a very fashionable man. One will often see him traipsing along in Drammen decked out in Ann Demeulemeester, Alexander Wang or Rick Owens clothing all of which are balanced monochromatics or grey tones. Having a bright and fluffy logo would certainly be in line with that of his peers in the area but WOULD NOT be representative of HIM. Therefore we decided to focus on being different and choose marketing that was representative of him as opposed to the status quo.
